Do you know that scaly skin that some people have in their legs when their skin is so dry? I have that. Or more like, I had that. I have a very dry skin, especially in the winter when it’s cold. My skin becomes so dry and it’s often itchy. My skin is also prone to eczema so I’m always looking for a good moisturizer.
I think I found out about Aveeno Skin relief moisturising lotion on another website some years ago when I was looking for recommendations on a body lotion for a dry skin. I heard this one being recommended even by doctors for people with eczema or sensitive skin. I’ve been hooked since.

I guess you already know that I like to use coconut oil, not just in skincare but also in the kitchen. I always add some to my morning smoothie and often use it when I cook Indian or other Asian food. Sometimes I even add a spoonful to my tea. I feel like coconut oil is… good for me. I was a skinny child so this is not one of those stories that starts with ”I was always overweight”. My parents were – and still are – very slim so I can’t blame the genes either. And I’ve never really been what would be called obese, I just got a bit chubby around my mid-twenties and it’s been very difficult trying to lose that weight. The usual thing happened: I stopped exercising, started working in an office (sitting on my butt all day) and found a boyfriend who I liked to stay at home with and have something nice to eat.
