Most people that have tried to lose weight find it difficult. It’s not easy to cut calories and change diet when it means that at least for a certain period of time our bodies must function with less energy than it would like to get. What weight loss obstacles do we face? And how can we eliminate those obstacles and lose weight for good?
Merry Christmas everyone!
I love Christmas – but I always gain a few pounds during the holidays. And you know what? That’s OK. Still, I decided to make this list of tips on how to make it through Christmas without gaining a lot of weight:
I just wrote an article about 10 diet options for 2016. A lot of those diets are high in protein and that got me thinking: What options do we have when it comes to protein? What protein rich foods are there? Surely a high protein diet doesn’t mean that you have to have a steak night every night? Not that I’d mind that though… 🙂
And it’s not just people wanting to lose weight that worry about getting enough protein. Protein is a very important part of weight training: you need to get enough protein from your diet in order to build muscle. If you’re not sure how much protein you should be getting a day, Bodybuilding.com has a great protein intake calculator (go ahead, it’s not just for bodybuilders…) and Authority Nutrition has a very good article on why protein is so important to us.
So I decided to compile a high protein foods list and protein rich food ideas for you!

There are so many different ways to lose weight, but which diet should you choose? It is time to make new resolutions for 2016 and it is SO time to start a new diet. I mean really.
I don’t know what it is about Christmas (or what the heck, whole December) that makes me eat so much! And the amount of food I eat is actually not the worst part, it is all the cravings… I start the day promising not to eat anything sweet but then I go to work and somebody’s brought in a large box of chocolate. Can you actually say no?
I think this is the time of the year when we start to shift our focus to next summer. We would really like to fit into our old summer clothes or perhaps buy some new ones a couple of sizes smaller, right? And we are so fed up with eating crap we just want to start a healthy lifestyle, right?
Good. That is exactly why I’ve compiled a list of 10 diet options for you to choose from for 2016. I’ll tell you what each diet is all about, its pros and cons – in my opinion, you are free to disagree, just leave a comment 🙂 – and what kind of person each diet is good for.

Ready? Let’s go:
I have had cellulite as long as I can remember. My skin is pale and not very thick so all the fat just shines through it. You can imagine, it’s not a pretty sight. The thing is though that I’m actually quite OK with it.
Did you know that 80 – 90 % of women have cellulite? And about 10 % of men.
So if you have cellulite you’re not alone 🙂 It’s normal, almost every woman has it and as we get older we really don’t even worry about it that much anymore.
However, I do think that we are intrigued by cellulite and that’s why I decided to write this article. In this post I will tell you:
- what cellulite is
- why you have it (unless you’re one of the lucky ones that don’t have it)
- how you can get rid of it – is it possible?
